Muhammad Hasnain would replace Shaheen Afridi in Pakistan’s

Earlier this week, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that Muhammad Hasnain would replace Shaheen Afridi in Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup.

Recall that earlier it was officially announced that Shaheen Afridi would not participate in the UAE tournament because he needed rest. But many experts note that Shaheen probably suffered damage that requires a relatively long recovery. It is reported that Afridi will rest for 4-6 weeks.

“Shaheen Afridi has received the necessary rest, which will last 4-6 weeks. His place in the Pakistan national team was given to Muhammad Hasnain. The player will arrive at the team’s line-up very soon,” representatives of the Pakistan Cricket Board noted.

Recall that on Sunday, August 28, Pakistan will play with the India national team in the 2022 AsiaCup.
