Sridharan Sriram became the head coach of the Bangladesh national team

On the eve, it became known that Sridharan Sriram became the head coach of the Bangladesh national team. It is reported that the specialist will be at the helm of Bangladesh at the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Earlier, Sridharan worked in the coaching staff of the Australia national cricket team. Sriram also has experience working in India — Sridharan worked for a long time in the IPL Chennai Super Kings system.

“Sridharan Sriram is the new coach of the Bangladesh national team. He will lead the team at the upcoming 2022 Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup,” BCB said in an official statement.

Also, the Bangladesh Cricket Board representatives noted that the primary goal remains the World Cup, which will be held in October. It’s reported that Sriram can conduct experiments during the 2022 Asia Cup to bring the team in the best shape for the upcoming World Championship.
