Jofra Archer extended contract with Sussex
On the eve, it became officially known that Jofra Archer extended his contract with Sussex for one year — the player will remain with Sussex until the end of 2023.
Recall that Jofra made his debut for County in 2016. He can already be called a full-fledged legend of the club. A successful game for Sussex allowed this professional to earn a place in the England national squad.
Ian Salisbury, the club’s head coach, told the public that Jofra Archer would continue to play for Sussex.
“I am pleased to announce that Jofra has extended his contract with the club. He knows Sussex through and through, and I am pleased that we will continue our mutually beneficial cooperation,” Salisbury said.
Recall that now Jofra continues to undergo a course of recovery after a severe elbow injury. Archer has already assured everyone that the recovery is going well. The club and the player hope that Jofra will return to the ranks in the coming weeks.
The English coaching staff also counts on Archer. Representatives of England have already noted that they are waiting for the restoration of Archer.
