Clean Bowled
Clean Bowled is one of the ways to remove the batsman from the game. Standard rules are for the bowler to serve the ball to the batsman. He, in turn, protects the wicket standing behind while trying to beat off the bowler’s throw. The batsman does not hit the throw in competitions, and the ball hits the wicket (knocks down the stumps). After such a draw, the bowler is said to have filed a clean bowled. If there are such innings, the battering team does not gain many points, and the team collapses.
