Aakash Chopra commented on Pandit’s appointment as the head coach of KKR

On the eve, the IPL club Kolkata Knight Riders announced that the most experienced Chandrakant Pandit will become the new coxswain of the team. Representatives of Knight Riders noted that Chandrakant is an excellent candidate for the club. But not everyone was satisfied with this leadership decision of the two-time IPL champion. Aakash Chopra commented on Pandit’s appointment as the head coach of KKR.

Aakash is highly skeptical about Chandrakant’s candidacy as the new chief of Kolkata Knight Riders. Chopra noted that the coaching methods used by the Pundit might not work with high-level players.

“Chandrakant Pandit’s coaching style is that he scolds his players and gives big loads. This approach is acceptable when working with children, but will the same strategy work with international players? It seems not,” said Aakash Chopra.

Harsha Bhogle has a similar opinion. A commentator on social media mentioned that he is looking forward to the start of the IPL season to see how the Pundit will manage KKR.
