Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh and reached the 2022 Asia Cup playoffs

The two main favorites of the 2022 Asia Cup were in Group A. But the second group included Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, approximately equal in strength teams. “I’m glad we managed to get out of a difficult situation. We understood that Bangladesh would do everything possible today to win. My players fulfilled the plan for the game 100%,” said Chris Silverwood.

It should be noted that from the first place of Group B Afghanistan reached the playoffs, which confidently beat both Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
