Spell

The bowler’s spell in cricket is the number of overs he bowls in a row before being replaced. As a concrete illustration, we may examine the scenario in which a bowler scored the numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) in the first ten overs of a One-Day International match, and then another player came in and scored the eleventh wicket instead. This is regarded to be a spell in cricket for the first player for a total of five overs. It is important to keep in mind that the numbering of all spells is sequential, beginning with the first, second, third, and so on to the last.
