Pick

Pick is a term from cricket that has several definitions – from the position of a bowler and a batsman:

• for a player with a bat, it is extremely necessary to understand the variations of the pitch to choose the most effective way to reflect it. Therefore, the method of serving determined by the batsman is called pick;
• for the pitcher, the concept of the pick is characterized by the use of lift the seam or the use of seams on the ball to gain an advantage over the batsman.
