Inside Out
Inside Out (Shot) is a type of batsman hitting a low-flying ball, the feature of which is a weak rebound of the projectile, forcing the player with the bat to:
- shift to the side of the leg;
- make an upward strike (from bottom to top);
- send the ball away from the batsman.
The name comes from the nature of the impact, which is visually carried out “inside out”, i.e., from itself outwards.
