Saurabh Kumar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, noted that the President’s trip is an indication that India is ready for a partnership in the development of cricket with small island developing States.
“This visit underscores the importance we attach to our relations with the Caribbean Community. We want the whole world to see that we are ready to act for the benefit of our favorite sport. As a sign of our shared love for cricket, Ram Nath Kovind will present cricket kits to aspiring young cricketers,” Kumar said.
