New Zealand won the ODI series against the West Indies

Phil Simmons’ team managed to please their fans with a victory in the first match of the ODI series against powerful New Zealand. However, Gary Stead’s team did not allow their opponent to develop a successful segment. First, the New Zealanders celebrated the victory in the second match, and the day before, New Zealand won the ODI series against the West Indies, taking the third match to their credit with a handicap of 5 wickets.

Thus, the West Indies lost the fifth series in a row. In defense of Simmons’ team, it can be said that West Indies had to face challenging opponents during this stretch. The poor form of the West Indies is obvious. However, Simmons continues to insist that everything is under complete control.

New Zealand once again confirmed the status of one of the strongest teams in the world in the ODI format.

Over the past two and a half years, the New Zealand national team has lost only one match in this format.

Recall that in the period from September 6 to 11, New Zealand will have to play three ODI matches against Australia.
