In / out field
In / out field is a term describing the placement of players on the field. The definition is following – a group of field players located closer to the batsman or the edge of the playing court, respectively.
In this case, as a rule, they mean the layout of the players on the field. Let’s say option 5-3 assumes that most of the outfield players are close to the batsman, and the rest are on the edge of the court. This makes the player with the bat makes mistakes and doubt their own decisions and actions.
