Eleven

Sports fans who have heard at least something about cricket know that it is a team sport. In it, the main attributes are the ball and the bat. Matches are played on fields that resemble an ellipse. In the center is the pitch where the main events unfold. Cricket has eleven players on each team, so the term eleven is used in this discipline. This number includes the team captain.

If the match is not official, then the teams can agree and put more cricketers on it. However, a maximum of 11 athletes on each side must still be on the field simultaneously.
