Bowled out (all out)
Sometimes the expression bowled out is incorrectly used instead of bowled. Actually, this is not true. Bowled out (all out) is a situation when 10 out of 11 players were sent off the kicking team.
Bowled out (all out): the basic meaning
In cricket, it is impossible for a team to have no players left. Some fans use the expression all out, but it would be more correct to say bowled out here. Of course, the opponent can score more points and improve his position in the match for good throws.
