India Squad for ACC Men U19 Asia Cup announced: captain
Ayush Mhatre, a 15-year-old batter from Mumbai, was appointed as the team’s captain. He already proved himself in the 2025 IPL for the Chennai Super Kings, but let’s face it, he has struggled with consistency in the recent series in England and Australia. However, he proved his mettle by shining in the youth Test matches. Vihaan Malhotra will be his right-hand man and vice-captain.
But without a doubt, one of the biggest fan favourites will be 14-year-old Vaibhav Suriyavanshi, an aggressive opening batsman and a true rising star from Bihar. His stats in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament are impressive: an average of 59.75 with an incredible speed of 243.87. Remember his name, because he will be playing in his second U19 Asian Cup in Dubai, even though he’s not even 15 yet.
