Cow shot
As you might have guessed, a cow shot is a tough and powerful blow that a batsman delivers. Usually, the ball flies high and far with such a hit towards the position of the cow corner (the border of the playing field). This technique is used to earn more runs quickly, since if a ball with a rebound crosses the boundary line, it is four runs at once, and if without a rebound – 6 runs. However, such blows do not always end well. Much depends on the serving bowler too!
