Ben Stokes regularly takes antidepressants
One of the leaders of the England cricket squad in the TEST and T20 formats admitted that he has mental health problems — Ben Stokes regularly takes antidepressants to combat anxiety.
Recall that Stokes interrupted his professional career after several panic attacks last year. Ben’s mental problems worsened after his father died of brain cancer. He states that he is not ashamed to admit that he has mental health problems.
“I never thought I would take medications to help me with such things. I am not ashamed to admit it — I needed help in difficult moments of my life, and now I feel good thanks to the people who were there,” Ben Stokes said.
Earlier, Ben Stokes reported that he would no longer play in the ODI format at the international level. However, Ben is still the English chief in the other two formats.
